Turn Up The Bass is a Netflix documentary about Deaf Rave, an organisation run by Troi Lee. Troi tells his story of overcoming discrimination and organising an annual event for deaf ravers across the globe.

The documentary centres around an interview with Troi (you can read our own interview with Troi here). We learn about his upbringing, how discrimination inspired him to not just start an event but also encourage other deaf artists to make their own music.

Troi talks about being part of Boomtown and being the first deaf DJ to play at Glastonbury. At 12 minutes long, this video provides a lot of insight into the lives and experiences of deaf ravers and how music and raving built a community.
