Coming to London on the 24th of May, Drake Music is bringing the very first DMLab Festival a celebration of music, instruments, and technology created by and for Disabled and non-disabled, d/Deaf and neurodivergent musicians and makers.
The festival takes place at Rich Mix, the beloved arts centre in the heart of Shoreditch, and it promises to be unlike anything you’ve experienced before.
The event includes an instrument-building workshop, offering hands-on help with designing and constructing your own accessible music tech. Next, there’s a dedicated session for exploring accessible music technology, followed by DMLab: LIVE, a series of performances from acts including DJ Jeffo from Deaf Rave.
Unsurprisingly, tickets for the event have already sold out but the whole event will be streamed on YouTube.
