Behind the project is Francesco Fisotti, recording under the GSQ alias.
The record moves from Nigerian-inspired grooves to J Dilla tributes, from dusty rap instrumentals to Balearic beat work, then off into styles that refuse a label. It pulls from all over the globe, and if you love open-format DJ sets, this album alone gives you a full crate’s worth.
