The latest episode of the Everyday Junglist podcast features a rising star in the Hardcore & Jungle scene, DJ, producer and label boss, Arkyn.
Arkyn is the owner of Tufstuf Records, a vinyl and digital label focused on today’s Hardcore and Jungle sounds from new and established artists. Arkyn has released music on Music Mondays, Da Demolition Squad and his own label.
A regular at live events across the UK, Arkyn drops a DJ set for the Everyday Junglist podcast to showcase what you can expect to hear at his live gigs. He joins the dots between crate digged oldskool vinyl gems and upfront new and unreleased material. Similar to Carl Cox’s 92-93 era mixes, this set blends breaks with the kickdrums of early European Hardcore, even including the infamous North East England anthem, ‘YRS Stomp’ by Technotrance.
