New Online Tool ‘Merch Table’ Turns Spotify Playlists Into Bandcamp Buy Lists

Hype Machine have launched a new online tool called ‘Merch Table’ that combines the new music search benefits of Spotify with an easy way to buy and support the music.

While streaming is fast becoming the norm, the best way to financially support your favourite artists is to buy their music.

This is where Merch Table comes in. Similar to Tune My Music, you start by pasting a Spotify link playlist into a paste button and the app does the rest bringing Bandcamp links based on the top 100 tracks in the list.

How well this works depends on which playlist you choose. When looking for up to date music, it’s best to use regularly updated Spotify lists. We tried with the ‘Alter’ playlist

Keep in mind that the music on Bandcamp tends to be a little more niche than music on sites like Beatport and Juno Download but if you’re looking for UK Garage, Breaks and Alternative Hip Hop, you’re likely to find some good purchases.

Its certainly worth a try and works well. Our advice is aim for updates playlists to find new beats and smaller playlists for crate digging.
