On July 11, 2026, London’s independent hub; Next Door Records) (located at 304 Uxbridge Rd) is hosting the ‘Vibes & 45s Opendecks and Community Record Fair.’
This isn’t your typical, gatekept record fair where elitist collectors stare at you for touching the merchandise. This event shifts the power dynamic back to the community with a “turn up and play” Open Decks format.
The Blueprint: Slots of 30 or 45 minutes are allocated on the day between 12:00 and 18:00.
The format is strictly 7” records (the classic 45 rpm singles).
Expect an expansive, global audio journey spanning Breaks, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Brazil, World Groove, Afrobeat, Soul, Funk, Broken Beat, and Disco plus A special guest appearance by ‘Electric Sheep.’
