History of Japanese Hardcore Techno [Mix Series]

Murder Channel, a Tokyo based event and label showcasing various strains of Hardcore Techno, just released a book and CD on the history of Japanese Hardcore, sometimes refered to as ‘J-Core’ The book and album is available here but we’re concentrating on two DJ sets by Tanuki and Shimon Harbig.

Both sets delve deep into the history of Japanese Breakcore, Speedcore and Hardcore Techno with plenty of Murder Channel label material, a label with numerous releases by Jungle juggernaut, FFF and supported by Hardcore veterans like Dave Skywalker. Not for the faint hearted!
