On The Rise at BPM Pro 2017

We’re proud to announce that On The Rise DJ Academy be hosting 2 sessions at this years BPM Pro 2017 in Birmingham. The first one on Sunday will be a training session on getting yourself organised with Jay Cunningham and the second will be a panel of DJs hosted by Terry Ryan to get yourself out of the bedroom.

Getting yourself organised may not be the most glamorous side of being a DJ but we can promise you it should be the most important! It’s all too easy to pile thousands of tracks onto your laptop – but do you really need them all? Can you always find the tracks you want? Are you as prepared for every gig as you’d like?

In this session, On The Rise tutor Jay Cunningham will run through some simple house keeping and smart automated techniques that can help you be a creative DJ with their eye on the crowd, rather than wasting time searching through playlists and folders to find that next killer tune.

GET OUT THE BEDROOM! – BY ON THE RISE MUSIC

There are some phenomenal DJs around the globe but you don’t find all of them in the clubs… Getting started and learning how to DJ is one thing, but how do you get yourself out of the bedroom and into the club?

Hosted by On The Rise tutor Terry Hooligan, this panel of guests from different backgrounds and circuits will give you the best knowledge on how to promote yourself with real life experiences. From contacting promoters to representing yourself online, Terry will cover a broad range of topics to help get you out there the right way.
