
Swaraj, one of the longest-running Asian Underground club nights, is returning to East London on July 24th. The event takes place at 93 Feet East, the venue that hosted the club’s residency from 2001 to 2002.
The night features a mini-festival lineup that mixes original resident DJs with newer South Asian artists. Known for blending London and South Asian influences, the event’s music policy spans multiple genres. Attendees can expect a mix of old-school dub, drum and bass, breakbeats, nu-school bass, house, and grime.
Announced Lineup includes
GAUDI (Live):
A one-man live performance blending dub, electronica, psychedelia, and world music.
The Dhol Foundation (Live):
The UK’s original Punjabi folk drumming crew returns for their sixth Swaraj performance. Tickets available from Resident Advisor.
Bobby Friction:
An original Swaraj resident DJ and a prominent figure in the global Desi music scene.
DJ Priya:
A rising DJ known for high-energy bass music.
Organizers plan to announce additional live acts and DJs closer to the event date.
