A new web app scans soundcloud mixes and pulls track IDs into saveable lists but that’s not all. Trackmatch scans soundcloud mixes, pulls IDs, and creates lists with Bandcamp and Discogs links and YouTube videos for individual tracks.
It goes without saying, the more well known tracks are, the better results you get. We found the best results from a recent MoMa Ready Rinse FM set which produced a thorough list of classic House and Techno.
On sign up, we got 10hrs worth of mix scan, set up our discogs API token (instructions on the site) and began copy-pasting mixes from soundcloud. Bandcamp and YouTube links are automatically embedded into each track ID
So what happens when those ten hours run out? There’s options to top up hours for a very reasonable price. Users can save and name scanned lists for future reference and searches are unlimited. This is already looking like a great music discovery tool. Check it out here.
