As part of the Together Against the Far-Right national demo, arranged by the Together Alliance on March 28th in Trafalgar Square, R3 Soundsystem will be holding a rave entitled House Against Hate.
R3 Soundsystem is itself a movement against racism and corporatism in UK dance music.
Founder DJ Gideon says this is an urgent message to come together against the rise of the far right and the danger it represents to marginalized communities, including trans people.
The lineup is impressive too. Legends like Jumping Jack Frost, Ben UFO, A guy called Gerald, DJ Paulette and Norman J MBE are just some of the DJs booked to play at the event.
At its core, dance music has always been about resistance and unity, and this event personifies that. Here’s an opportunity to put PLUR not just back into the rave, but back into society.
