Her debut mix is a proper statement of intent- a high-energy run through French rap, baile funk, moombahton, and jersey club that somehow hangs together as a coherent journey rather than a playlist on shuffle.
What makes it work is the thread running through all of it: bass with bounce. These aren’t genres that typically share a stage, but in MIA RYM’s hands the connections feel obvious in hindsight.
