Hospital Records is setting up two mentorship paths for next year. Both focus on giving people a clearer way into drum and bass, and both offer structured support over a full year.

One path is aimed at women and female-identifying producers. It gives one person direct A&R guidance from the Hospital team, along with teaching sessions from staff who work across the label and events. You also get time with people who handle marketing, DJ bookings, business planning, finance, and design. The idea is to give the selected producer a grounded view of how the scene works behind the music. It’s a chance to shape your sound while learning what keeps a career going.
The second path is open to new artists at the beginning of their drum and bass journey. Again, one person is selected. The focus here is on building confidence, strengthening early skills, and offering sessions around publishing and other areas that help you move forward.

Both places begin in the new year. You need to apply by Friday 12 December. Only two people will be chosen. This keeps the focus tight and gives each artist space to grow. If you’ve been looking for a way to build your craft with proper guidance, this could be a strong step.
