It’s been another interesting week in the world of all things DJ related. Here’s three bits you might have missed.
1.RA1000– Resident Advisor published a huge database of their special feature DJ Mixes ranging from 2006 to 2025. The list is massive! You can filter it by date, length etc and each link comes with an interview, embedded Soundcloud link to the mix and full tracklist. Too many names to mention but you will absolutely find something to your taste! Check it out here.
2.TSHA- Revolution (Shadow Child Remix)
This banger has been doing the rounds lately with it’s catchy Gill Scott Heron inspired spoken word vocal. Shadow Child’s remix makes great use of Oldskool Rave stabs similar to Todd Terry aka Black Riot ‘Day In The Life.’ Most sites have a way too short 2min 57secs edit but we found a longer version for the DJs. 3.De La Soul Remix Stems– Celebrating a 7″ Vinyl and digital reissue of their classic “All Good” with Chaka Kahn, Hip Hop legends, De La Soul want producers to ‘reimagine their sound’ by downloading the official stems here and uploading your remix to soundcloud with the hashtag #DeLaSoulRemix2025 Make sure you grab them before September 18th.
