You need to watch this documentary about Andrew Weatherall

Andrew Weatherall is one of the UK dance music scenes’ best loved DJs. He sadly passed away on the 17th February, 2020. Now a short documentary looks back at his life and influence on the scene is available for everyone to watch.

‘Sail we must: A sea story of Andrew Weatherall & An Irish fisherman’ is an account of the famous DJs’ life told from the perspective of his friends and colleagues including an Irish fisherman who met Andrew in Cork. While very short, the documentary does a good job of looking back at his career as a DJ and famous remixer and his unique personality.

The documentary includes excerpts of Andrew in interview and solves the mystery of the seemingly mythic fisherman who appears in the documentary.

It’s a poignant look back at Andrew’s legacy that will touch you, soundtracked by his iconic productions and perhaps inspire a bit of creativity.
