March the 1st 2024 marks the 35th anniversary of De La Soul’s seminal ‘3 Feet High and Rising’ album. The album is scheduled for a digital re-release on that date with additional previously unreleased material.
Ahead of the album, De La Soul have posted “Freedom of Speak (We Got Three Minutes) to YouTube with lyrics and bright artwork in the style of ‘Eye Know’ and other classic jams from De La’s ‘daisy age hip-hop’ era. It’s a must listen if you love Oldskool Rap or if you love Rap music full stop!
