Man Sets Guinness World Record for Largest Rave/Club Flyers Collection

Marco Brusadelli from Cisano Bergamasco, Italy, has set a Guinness World Record by collecting 113,012 rave and club flyers, part of a larger archive of nearly 120,000 dating from 1985 to 2015. Organised by country, genre, event, and style, the collection spans house, techno, trance, drum & bass, and more, with over 40,000 flyers from Italy and around 11,600 from the UK. Brusadelli emphasises that the project is about preserving the visual history of electronic music culture rather than profit.

 

IKLECTIK Reopening in New Peckham Space

London’s experimental venue IKLECTIK will reopen this October at Peckham Levels on Rye Lane after being evicted from its Waterloo base in 2023 due to redevelopment. The new 13-month residency will focus on experimental music, cross-disciplinary performance, and community projects, with a free launch event set for Sunday 26th October. IKLECTIK’s mission remains to support underground culture, risk-taking art, and to provide space for both emerging and established artists to experiment.

 

Fully Accessible Club Event in Manchester (“United By The Groove”)

A new inclusive rave called United By The Groove will take place at The Yard in Manchester on Saturday 20th September, running from 4pm to 10pm and featuring disabled DJs including Jake Smith, AJ Murphy, Finley Allen, and Matty Taylforth. The event includes features such as braille signage, a lowered bar, accessible toilets with alarm cords, and a sensory chill-out room, aiming to break down barriers that disabled fans and performers face in nightlife. All proceeds will go to the disability charity Sense.
