New 24-Hour Mental Health Service for Artists and Touring Crew

Working in music can be intense—especially for those constantly on the road. Long nights, changing time zones, and high-pressure environments can take a serious toll. That’s why a new round-the-clock mental health support service is welcome news for DJs, artists, and crew alike.

Launched by the Music Industry Therapy Collective (MITC), this free online service is designed to provide 24/7 mental health support to people working in live music—whether you’re behind the decks or behind the scenes.

MITC’s service recognises that the challenges of touring—burnout, stress, isolation—don’t always happen on a schedule. With this initiative, support is available any time, day or night.

This move follows in the footsteps of other important efforts like Music Minds Matter, a helpline started by Help Musicians in 2017 that offers similar 24-hour assistance for musicians.

While Music Minds Matter has been a lifeline for many, MITC’s new offering widens the support network even further by also including touring crew, technical staff, and support teams—the people who keep the show running.

At On The Rise, we know that thriving in music means looking after your mental health just as much as your skills. If you or someone you know is struggling, don’t wait. Support is out there, and it’s now easier to access than ever.
