Mix of the Week- Dassier Chams

Our mix of the week for the first week of June goes to Dassier Chams with a SLAMMING set of breaks bangers!!!

Dassier Chams delivers a thumper of a set featuring tracks in the Spanish Breaks style. Breaks continues to be an overlooked genre despite the relative mainstream success it has had over the years thanks to The Prodigy, Freestylers, Fatboy Slim and more. Breaks is a broad tent genre ranging from the more rave influenced side of things to  the type played in this mix which is perhaps closer in production style to DnB. The mix features cool spoken word samples throughout which add to the dark, heavy overall atmosphere. Something a little different maybe but well worth a listen!!!
