1. SHERELLE


SHERELLE has gained unprecedented traction as a DJ over the last year. Her sets focus on footwork, DnB, and Jungle, and before COVID-19 hit, she was lighting up dancefloors everywhere. Despite the lockdown and inability to have live shows, SHERELLE has not stopped working and mastering her craft. She launched a label – Hooversound – and made her Essential Mix debut on Radio 1 in December 2020. SHERELLE has even appeared on BBC Newsnight, where she urged the UK government to provide more support for struggling musicians during the COVID-19 pandemic. 2. tINI


tINI has been in love with DJing and mixing since she was 7 years old. When old enough, she began Djing Germany’s underground hip-hop clubs, during which she uses her collection of vinyl records to mix. She is now widely regarded as a key female figure in the world of underground house and techno music. In 2018, she started her own label, Part of the Gang Records, and in 2020, she celebrated 10 years of tINI and the Gang, a platform that has supported upcoming artists since its launch. 3. Alison Wonderland


Alison Wonderland is an Australian DJ and bass music producer. In 2015, she released her debut album Run which took the #1 spot in the US Dance charts and #6 on the ARIA charts and is certified gold. Alison Wonderland also won Billboard’s “Breakout Artist” Award in 2018. Now, she’s a go-to headliner for big festivals and shows and is held in very high esteem with respect to bass music, especially in the United States. 4. Honey Dijon


Honey Dijon is an American DJ, producer, and electronic musician, who was born in Chicago and based in New York and Berlin. She is most known for her genre-bending sets and unique music taste, and she has performed at clubs, art fairs, galleries, and fashion events internationally. In 2017, she released her debut album, The Best of Both Worlds. Also, as a transgender woman, Honey Dijon has been a vocal advocate for trans rights and awareness for the duration of her career. 5. Annie Mac


Annie Mac is an Irish DJ, radio host, and one of the most notable names in electronic music. She made her BBC Radio 1 broadcast debut in 2004, and from then on, she went on to be featured on many different radio shows on a regular basis. She now hosts a flagship Radio 1 show – Future Sounds with Annie Mac – where she plays the best new music. Annie Mac also founded her own festival named the “Lost & Found Festival”, which takes place in Malta as a four-day event. Check out one of her sets here.

6. Peggy Gou


Peggy Gou is a Berlin-based South Korean DJ and Producer. She got her first big break in the 2010s and has since risen to fame for having sets that include multiple genres including house and disco. Peggy Gou has released seven EPs, and in 2019, she launched her own independent record label, Gudu Records. She also often plays big festivals like Coachella and Fly Open Air Festival.
