In the absence of nightlife, online radio and podcasts have been a way to stay connected as we approach what we hope to be the final hurdle before it is safe to go raving again. We have compiled a few of our favourite podcasts in one place here in this blog so you can experience all the great music on offer.

We use the word ‘podcast’ here to describe music shows and DJ mixes that are distributed through services like Spotify, Soundcloud and Mixcloud plus other similiar platforms. They may not be called ‘podcasts’ in the official sense but they are to all effects so as they are available on demand and online to listen at your convenience. With one exception, all the links in this article are Mixcloud links. These shows may well be available elsewhere but we prefer Mixcloud because it pays artists for the use of their music.

DJ Jazzy Jeff’s Magnificent House Party
