Fracture celebrates the legacy of piarate radio with an album and an online station

Welcome to 0860, a project by Charlie Fieber aka Fracture inspired by London Pirate Radio. The project includes an album, radio station and interview series that explores the history and legacy of Pirate Radio and its importance in the development of UK underground music.

The album is presented in an 8-track, DJ-friendly 2 x 12″ Vinyl format, as well as a 19-track mixtape cassette. The radio station 0860.fm is now broadcasting, and over the coming weeks will air interviews with Bryan Gee, Eastman, DJ Flight, Scratcha, Dextrous, Uncle Dugs, Mantra, Missing, Eddie Peake, Om Unit & Laurent Fintoni, Naina & Sherelle, Stamina MC and more. Additionally, 0860.fm will broadcast lost recordings of original 90s & 00s London pirate station broadcasts from the likes of Kool, Rinse, Pulse and more.

You can pre-save the album on Spotify etc and check out exclusive plays of the tracks on the 0860 website.Be sure to follow 0860 on IG and Twitter for updates on the project.

I took part in the 8 week DJ course with Jay and Terry. I'm a complete beginner and probably a little older than the average starter to be honest. I picked up far more than I expected to. Both the guys are very experienced and incredibly helpful when it comes to imparting knowledge and even tailoring parts of the course to the requirements of each individual. They touched on much of the core fundamentals and delved into plenty of advanced fields as well. All in all I couldn't be happier, and once I've had time to practise and get myself up to scratch I'll definitely be back to do some one on one classes.

I have just finished a 3 day advanced scratching course with Jon1st and I'm absolutely buzzing. Jon's way of teaching, taught me more than I ever expected possible in just 3 days. Guys, I wanna thank you personally for taking on board everything I explained in our first phone conversation's and nailing every aspect of what I wanted to achieve. You both knew exactly what I needed to get me over the mental block I had with my scratching style, and having Jon1st as my teacher was a honour and .....well, sick!!
