Cosine Club is an online tool for electronic dance music discovery. Simply upload a YouTube or Bandcamp url or start typing it the search bar to select a song/track to discover more like it.

Posting in the r/TheOverload subreddit, the maker of the site, hurfyd explains how the site uses machine learning to identify matching tracks according to a growing database.

The search option appears to work best by typing to get suggestions. For example, typing ‘Anita Baker’ brings up several of her songs. I clicked on the obvious choice of ‘Sweet Love’ and got an almost immediate list of soul jams. I also tried Azymuth ‘Jazz Carnival’ and Loose Ends ‘Hanging On A String’ which pulled up some really good results.

Once your playlist is populated, you can skip through the tracks or play individually through an embedded YouTube player. Clicking on the link icon takes you to a discogs listing for the music and clicking copy gives a playlist you can paste into your browser to open in YouTube.

The option to upload Bandcamp urls is very effective. Here’s one I made earlier
