Create Your Own ‘Dream Life Album Cover’ with Linett Kamala

Visual artist and DJ Linett Kamala (LIN KAM ART) is leading a special workshop where you’ll get to design your own Dream Life Album Cover. It’s all about using music and creativity as a tool for expression, and it’s inspired by the powerful community story of South Kilburn CarniVale- a free, grassroots wellness festival led by and for the people.

Expect to share sounds that speak to your journey, hear from others, and explore how music connects deeply with identity and purpose. Materials and equipment will be provided-just bring your energy.

Who’s it for?

If you’re aged 18–27, you can apply to be part of this small, focused group of participants. The session is free, and access is fully supported.

Part of Something Bigger

The workshop is part of We Are The Many, a day-long event happening at EartH Hackney on Sunday 15 June, launching London Refugee Week 2025.

With the theme ‘Community as a Superpower’, the day includes music, food, art, and conversation-hosted by poet and artist Inua Ellams. Expect DJs, chefs, musicians, architects and more all contributing to a collective vision for justice and joy.

This is what community-led creativity looks like-and we’re here for it.
