Spaces are limited so be quick to book your tix here https://partiful.com/e/ghdLkY0LbiljPzKGKkLs?To celebrate half a century of Hip Hop, Pioneer DJ are hosting a free DJ workshop and live event, part of Start From Scratch, an initiative by by Pioneer DJ to provide better access to the DJ industry for underrepresented communities.Linett Kamala has meticulously curated an exciting event showcasing the history of hip hop and sound system culture at Notting Hill Carnival. Attendees can enjoy DJ workshops, beatboxing, turntable demos, and performances from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm.The program starts with a ‘Intro to Scratch’ DJing workshop by OTR head tutor, Terry Ryan and Esi from KISS FM. A great opportunity to learn and improve your turntable skills.Other highlights include DJ and beatboxing workshops and demonstrations, as well as performances from notable professionals in the music industry. The event will also feature a reunion and Q&A session with members of the Mastermind Roadshow and a turntable showcase with the brand new Pioneer DJ PLX-CRSS12. The Hip Hop Jam will be led by DJ 279 & Damien Anayasi.
