Bridges For Music Announce 7th ADE Charity Cycle

Bridges For Music is back for their upcoming 7th ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) charity cycle. This annual event has garnered a global following within the DJ industry, The event features involvement from industry heavyweights and a commitment to supporting humanitarian causes.

The 7th ADE charity cycle will commence on the 15th of October, starting from the headquarters of Resident Advisor in Shoreditch, London. Cyclists will embark on a challenging 550-kilometer ride. As with previous years, it coincides with the beginning of the festival.

Over the years, this event has witnessed the active participation of more than 120 industry heavyweights, including influential artists such as Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn, Chris Liebing, Pan-Pot, Juliet Fox, Jamiee, and many more.

One of the primary objectives of the charity cycle is to raise funds for the Bridges Music Academy, located in the Langa Township of South Africa. This unique institution provides educational opportunities and support to young students living in under-resourced communities, aiming to empower them through music. The funds raised during the event contribute directly to the development and sustenance of this academy, enabling access to quality education and otherwise inaccessible resources.

BFM places great emphasis on inclusivity, welcoming both experienced cyclists and novices alike. Regardless of their cycling capability, individuals with a passion for good causes and a desire to make a difference are encouraged to participate. The event accommodates cyclists of different fitness levels, forming groups that maintain an average cycling speed of approximately 30 km/h, 26 km/h, and 22 km/h. Moreover, participants who are unable to commit to the full duration of the cycle have the option to join for half or one stage of the tour, further enhancing the accessibility of the event.
