Ron Wells is a producer primarily known for his distinctive 4×4 ‘Jungle Tekno’ sound that spans almost 4 decades. His early 90s releases sell for upwards of £60 on second hand vinyl marketplace, discogs but if you would rather pay £15 for a 15 track digital album featuring some of the producer’s most popular tracks in HQ audio, the ‘Jungle Tekno’ LP is what you’re after.

The early 90s ‘Rave’ sound had the advantage of being way ahead of it’s time. Today’s scene is full of constant references to rave and tracks that use elements of Breakbeat Hardcore. Ron’s sound has stood the test of time as these tracks attest to.

Over 15 tracks including the famous ‘Plight of the Innovators’, this album showcases the artist’s rich fusion of kickdrums, breaks, soaring strings, 303s and rave stabs that alternate from uplifting to deep and dark.

This album is perfect for playing alongside 160, Jungle and similar styles. You can grab a copy here
