A new book looks at the history of VIP passes from the rave era.

Just when you think you’ve read and watched every piece of rave memoribilia, a book comes along called ‘Members Only’, a publication and coffee table book that focuses on the VIP passes from late 80s and early 90s club and rave culture.

The book- due for release in September- contains 500 images of VIP passes from events like Dreamscape, Fantazia and World Dance plus business cards and pins.

But it’s not just pictures, after all, it wouldn’t be right to leave out the oral history from the people who lived the experience. According to the press release you can expect:

all of the iconic events, clubs and parties, legal and illegal, also includes quotes from the pioneering event founders, DJs, MCs, PAs, designers, ravers and even with the person who “invented” glow sticks giving us the insight on when, where and how they came about.

We look forward to another insightful lense into the foundational rave scene when the book hits the shelves this September.
