Forgive me for tickling my Oldskool Rave fetish once again but the NOT 4 HUMAN CONSUMPTION label just dropped a killer four track compilation. This album marks the first release on the sub label: N4HC BOSS. The title says it all really, this is a modern take on the Sheffield ‘Bleep and Bass’ sound of 1990 (LFO, Unique 3, Nightmares On Wax) with elements of Proto Breakbeat Hardcore. All four artists shine with authentic bleep tunes but Kwake really nails it, following on from an excellent EP for Unknown to the Unknown earlier this year. N4HC delivers another hit, cementing itself as a major player in the modern rave scene.
