YDLR Presents PXSSY X VINYL, A Night Celebrating Female Vinyl DJs and Selectors
Friday 4th October at HAUS, 30 Market Row, Brixton, SW9 8LD

On Friday 4th October, YDLR, an emerging vinyl DJ will launch PXSSY X VINYL, a new monthly night dedicated to spotlighting female vinyl DJs and selectors. Supported by Technics Global and taking place at Brixton favourite, HAUS, owned by a fellow female vinyl DJ, the night will offer music to keep you moving and a chance to be a part of an exciting new event celebrating female talent on the vinyl scene.
YDLR created PXSSY X VINYL with a clear vision: to amplify the presence and talent of female vinyl DJs and provide a platform where female selectors can take centre stage.
PXSSY X VINYL is not just about music—it’s about creating a space where female vinyl DJs can thrive, share their passion for vinyl, and inspire the next generation of female DJs. By showcasing female talent, PXSSY X VINYL will foster a more inclusive and balanced London music scene.
YDLR commented on the importance of PXSSY X VINYL saying: “Often, I find myself the only woman playing vinyl in spaces dominated by male DJs. PXSSY X VINYL is my way of changing that dynamic and giving space to the incredible female selectors who deserve to be seen and heard. We need more events like PXSSY X VINYL, more spaces where the spotlight and the investment is for us. I still go to vinyl led events where us female DJs do not even make up 30% of the line-up. With PXSSY X VINYL I want to change that.”
The evening promises a lineup of vinyl-only sets from emerging female vinyl DJs, ensuring a mix of genres and styles to keep the dancers moving. Lads and digital-lovers, come through and worship at the altar of PXSSY X VINYL.
