The title of this album is Stop Making Edits, but we beg to differ. We really hope Scratchclart makes more!
As the album blurb mentions, the eleven tracks here are inspired by the likes of Mary J. Blige, Giles Peterson, and other luminaries.
The results are an album full of great neo-soul, hip-hop, UK Garage, and Afro House. Indeed, each of these edits would be solid material in an open-format DJ set, just as much as musical fuel for the afters.
