The team behind Bristol’s legendary Lakota nightclub has announced the launch of a brand-new, 220-capacity venue-Moon Club.
Set to open this September in St Paul’s, Moon Club will be housed in the same Stokes Croft Brewery Building as Lakota. The name nods to the building’s history, taking inspiration from the venue that operated there before Lakota took over in 1989.
According to the Lakota team, Moon Club will be a fully independent space-not just an extra room. It will have its own identity, layout, and mission, described as “purpose-built for high-energy club nights, private events, and creative takeovers.”
Inside, Moon Club will feature its own bar, a state-of-the-art L‑Acoustics 360° quadraphonic soundsystem, and a reactive lighting setup designed to create an immersive dancefloor experience.
While Lakota has confirmed a September 2025 opening date in its Instagram announcement, the club’s website already lists its first event – S‑Line Presents-on September 24, featuring Dunman and Dashy.
This marks the start of what Lakota calls a “new era” for the space, expanding Bristol’s nightlife options while staying true to its roots.
