Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 1.7 Firmware Update

Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 1.7 Firmware Update

The 1.7 firmware update is a big update for the Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 with expanded capability to the BEAT JUMP function adding 2, 4, 8 and 16 BEAT JUMP added. (Press [BEAT JUMP] to select length).  You can also perform a 16 BEAT JUMP when used with a DDJ-SP1.

This has been a much requested and long overdue update and with the Denon SC5000 Media Player & X1800 mixer coming very soon, Pioneer are clearly stepping up their game.

There’s also a number of fixes with this version that makes this an all around essential update:

  • [FIXED] Emergency loop issue with certain MP3 files containing APE tag data.
  • [FIXED] Wrong info appeared when showing PLAYLIST using SHORTCUT after SEARCH under certain conditions.
  • [FIXED] Search results did not appear when moving cursor during SEARCH.
