Rekordbox 6.6.4 Release and Updates

Rekordbox 6.6.4 is now available for download. This latest upgrade is mostly bug fixes with one new feature and one that appears to be on hold for now.

Cloud Analysis

This feature scans your music library via the Pioneer DJ servers. If DJs have already analysed the music, it is automatically added to your collection, a potentially time saving feature.

BPM Supreme on hold.

BPM Supreme is a premium DJ pool for professional DJs and used by some of the top DJs in the world including Jazzy Jeff. The intended integration with Rekordbox appears to be on hold for now but users still have Beatport Link, Soundcloud, Tidal, Beatsource Link and integration with the promo delivery service, Inflyte. The 3-day course by OTR is the perfect way to start DJ'ing from scratch. I've always loved music, but had never even touched a pair of decks. After the course though, I have the ability & tools to already create my own mixes with practice. Not only are Jay and Terry so knowledgeable about their craft, and flexible with scheduling, but they are also great fun to spend time with. My advice to anyone wishing to learn - don't waste time looking anywhere else!

I took part in the 8 week DJ course with Jay and Terry. I'm a complete beginner and probably a little older than the average starter to be honest. I picked up far more than I expected to. Both the guys are very experienced and incredibly helpful when it comes to imparting knowledge and even tailoring parts of the course to the requirements of each individual. They touched on much of the core fundamentals and delved into plenty of advanced fields as well. All in all I couldn't be happier, and once I've had time to practise and get myself up to scratch I'll definitely be back to do some one on one classes.
