VIPER INTRODUCTION

Are you a young aspiring DJ / producer? Viper Recordings are on the look out for the next Drum & Bass stars. This DJ competition has the potential to sling shot your career into the D&B limelight. Winners will be brushing shoulders with some of D&B’s biggest names, behind the decks on the worlds first ‘The Sound Of Drum & Bass Tour’. If that’s not enough Viper Recordings have pulled together a pool of key prizes to help accelerate your DJ careers.

THE TOUR

‘The Sound Of Drum & Bass’ is the world’s first dancefloor UK tour. The tour has been created by one of the world’s leading Drum & Bass labels; Viper Recordings and Academy Events, one of the top promoters in the UK. Being held at eight of the Academy’s O2 music venues across the UK, the tour showcases some of Drum & Bass’ hottest names from all sides of the spectrum. From the likes of; Matrix & Futurebound, Brookes Brothers, Cyantific & Koven to Majisrate, Harry Shotta & Eksman and let’s not forget the mighty TC. This tour has something for any Drum & Bass lover.

I have just finished a 3 day advanced scratching course with Jon1st and I'm absolutely buzzing. Jon's way of teaching, taught me more than I ever expected possible in just 3 days. Guys, I wanna thank you personally for taking on board everything I explained in our first phone conversation's and nailing every aspect of what I wanted to achieve. You both knew exactly what I needed to get me over the mental block I had with my scratching style, and having Jon1st as my teacher was a honour and .....well, sick!! His teaching style and ability to simplify and brake down patterns,routines and juggles made it massively simple to understand. Just finished the production course at On The Rise and couldn't be happier! I was very nervous before starting, especially as I have no music background but the guys put me at ease straight away and my tutor Alex was fantastic and went through everything slowly and was happy to repeat sections to make sure I had grasped all the tools. I would recommend coming here to anyone looking to make a start in music production. Keep up the great work guys!
