CDJ 3000 users now have the option to add Beatport direct streaming. To get this feature, users will need to update the firmware to version 3.oo. Further requirements are a USB/SD card and Rekordbox database plus of course, a subscription to one of Beatport’s streaming plans.
With this upgrade and a Beatport streaming sub, tracks can be accessed just as they are on a personal library. Users can create cue points and best of all, the Beatport library tracks can be played offline in the event of the WIFI cutting out.
