Kool FM Pays Tribute To MC Skibadee

In another sad moment for the world of UK dance music, MC Skibadee passed away last week, Our thoughts are with his family and friends in this difficult time. Social media tributes were too many to count including this 2 hour session on Kool FM uploaded to YouTube

In a fitting homage to one of the UK’s most loved MCs, a stalwart of the Jungle & DnB scene, Kool FM DJs got together to share their memories and playing tunes that Skibadee loved. In their own words:

In February 2022 we lost one of the most iconic people in Drum & Bass. A regular at Dance Concept events as well as all the biggest events around the world. An artist who touched ravers & fellow artists alike with his talent & positivity.

Moments like this and the current state of the world remind us constantly of our mortality. If you’re reading this, our message is don’t despair and reach out to your friends, family and mental health professionals. It’s ok not to be OK so long as you don’t keep it in. Rest in power, Skibadee.
