1on1 Course: DJ Experience Day

Fancy treating a friend or even yourself to a DJ Experience Day?

On The Rise has teamed up with DJ Mag to create a unique team building experience that gets as close to being a superstar DJ as you’ll ever get! Hosted at DJ Mag’s very own London based club Work, you’ll get a hands on fun approach to DJ’ing with the full VIP treatment inside a professional club environment.

No previous experience is needed but a passion for music certainly will help and if you catch the bug then you can get yourself onto one of our 3 day beginner courses to get the foundation skills to DJ.

What Can You Expect

The day will start off with a fun DJ lesson covering the basics to build up confidence and technique and will finish off with a 1 hour set in a club which you can invite all your friends along to party the night away.

We can supply the music but if you’d like to bring your own please do so on a USB.
The experience will take place at DJ Mag’s club Work.London: 3 Chapel Market, Angel, London, N1 9EZ [Map].

Just finished the production course at On The Rise and couldn't be happier! I was very nervous before starting, especially as I have no music background but the guys put me at ease straight away and my tutor Alex was fantastic and went through everything slowly and was happy to repeat sections to make sure I had grasped all the tools. I chose "On the Rise" DJ course because of the guys that are the tutors, Mr Jay Cunningham and Mr Terry Hooligan Ryan. My 8 week course was great fun very relaxed atmosphere but serious business was taught. I learnt more that I expected and was extremely pleased with all that was on offer. I've come away with a real understanding of what it all means to get it right on various equipment. The 8 week course is perfect and is worth every penny if you listen to the tutors. I didn't know much about my Apple Mac-pro until I took it in to the class, but now I'm able to teach others how to correctly use iTunes music crates and Rekordbox and well as Serato.
